Master Boot Record (MBR)

I'll try to explain about Master Boot Record. What is a Master Boot Record? Master Boot Record (MBR) is a type of boot sector is located on a Computer. It consists of a sequence of 512 bytes are located in the first sector of data storage devices like hard disks. MBR is usually placed on a storage device designed for use with IBM PC compatible with the system.

In the Master Boot Record, there is a partition table that describes where the partitions are put in the hard disk. This partitioning scheme is only available in the Intel x86 system, and implemented in the system BIOS of the system.
In this partitioning scheme, the partition is divided into three types,

Primary Partition partitioning which can be used to perform the operating system boot process and store user data. There were only four pieces only in a single hard disk. If there is an additional partition, then the amount will be reduced to three primary partitions.

Extended Partition the partition that can accommodate multiple logical partitions. This partition is actually one kind of primary partition. The numbers should only be one piece only.

Logical Partition is the partition that can be used to make the process of booting the operating system, and can only store user data. Amount is not restricted, meaning that in a single hard disk may have a lot to have its main office logical partition to a single additional partition.

i may only  explain the meaning MBR up here.
I'm sorry if my bad english :)
